Funding announcement
We are excited to announce that Tomato has completed a $1.5 million financing round backed by xx Capital.
This funding will primarily be used across three areas:
- Continued model iteration
- Building out our product engineering system
- Expanding infrastructure and service capabilities
Why we are raising now
As Tomato moves from early testing into more real usage scenarios, one thing has become increasingly clear to us: a sustainable AI product cannot depend on the model alone. It also requires strong engineering, strong product delivery, and long-term service capability.
This financing round is intended to help us move faster on all of those fronts.
What this funding will help us do
Going forward, we will invest more heavily in:
- Improving product stability and deliverability
- Building out more complete commercial service capabilities
- Advancing future versions and new product directions
- Preparing Tomato for broader user adoption
